Responsibilities
- Promptly address resident service requests
- Perform hands-on maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and more
- Prepare market-ready apartments and maintain community grounds
- Conduct regular community inspections to identify necessary repairs or replacements
- Assume managerial responsibilities in the absence of the Service Manager, overseeing service requests and delegating tasks
- Assist in managing maintenance inventory
- Respond to emergencies after normal business hours and on weekends when assigned on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Hands-on maintenance experience in areas including, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and HVAC
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation if operating a motorized vehicle (e.g., car, golf cart) during the workday
- Computer literacy and ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing in English for all work-related purposes
- Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- EPA Section 608 Type I and Type II or Universal certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire if required based on community needs
- Must provide a telephone number where you can be reached after-hours for on-call responsibilities
- Service team members, with limited exceptions, are required to use their own smartphone to perform certain aspects of their job
Preferred Qualifications
- Trade school certification/diploma
- Managerial experience
- Residential or commercial property management, hospitality, or retail experience

Pay
$28.71 - $35.09/hour. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications. Team members are eligible for overtime pay and performance incentives.
