Essential Function

Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.

Support the installation, setup, modification, and teardown of new and existing production lines to meet operational and production requirements.

Schedule, coordinate, and oversee outside contractors and service providers; ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to company standards.

Evaluate equipment performance and facility needs; research, recommend, test equipment to diagnose malfunctions and support the acquisition of new machinery, tools, and suppliers.

Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings gears or other parts of machinery.

Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools and reassemble equipment.

Move and assist in transportation of furniture and equipment.

Skills And Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in related field.
  • General knowledge of various types of mechanical equipment.
  • General knowledge of electrical engineering, plumbing, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC.
  • Able to successfully complete boiler operator training for license.
  • Able to operate a forklift.
  • Able to read blueprints and diagrams.
  • Willing to work flexible hours and shifts.
  • Willing to be on call and respond to after-hour emergencies.
  • Communicate efficiently and fluently in both written and verbal forms.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
  • Attention to details to ensure quality of work.

Pay

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 plus bonus

About the Role

The Senior Maintenance worker’s job is to perform routine and extensive range of work in the repair and general maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment under general supervision. In this role you will execute work within established procedures and process under both verbal and written instructions.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum 4 years of experience in related field.

General knowledge of various types of mechanical equipment.

General knowledge of electrical engineering, plumbing, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC.

Able to successfully complete boiler operator training for license.
