Senior Maintenance Manager
Position Overview
The Plant Engineer at The Cheesecake Factory Bakery is responsible for leading the facility maintenance team, developing strategic direction, and motivating others to achieve success.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of strategic direction for the facility Engineering and Maintenance team.
- Develop Leaders and Members to higher levels of success and responsibility.
- Lead efforts to develop and implement safety, quality, continuous improvement, and customer service programs.
- Lead the asset management program for the facility.
- Lead the strategic direction for all utilities, infrastructure, and support areas within the facility.
- Lead the Process Safety Management (PSM) efforts for the facility.
- Own the environmental realm for the facility in conjunction with leading continuous improvement efforts.
- Lead capital and expense driven projects within the facility as well as act as liaison to other resources.
- Lead cross-functional teams comprised of various functional areas within the organization.
- Effectively and efficiently manage the use of all consumed energy and utilities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Engineering field.
- Minimum of 5 years of coaching and leadership experience in a team-based environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field.
- Strong coaching and leadership skills.
- Commitment to personal growth and the proven ability to develop others to higher levels of responsibility.
- Knowledgeable in regulatory compliance (OSHA, FDA, EPA).
- Working knowledge of MSOffice and AutoCAD.
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
