About the role

The Senior Maintainability Engineer is responsible for ensuring that software systems are maintainable and scalable. They work closely with development teams to implement best practices and continuously improve system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce maintainability guidelines and standards
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement maintainable systems
• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to maintainability standards
• Identify and mitigate technical debt in existing systems
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development process

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering
• Experience with software maintainability best practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java, Python, or C++
