Senior Mainframe Developer

Work You'll Do/Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy code changes for claims processing systems based on technical specifications.
• Monitor daily batch jobs and resolve ABENDs within defined SLA timelines.
• Aid in unit and integration testing of new healthcare compliance updates.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and runbooks for the Operate team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software, systems, or embedded engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in Mainframe application development (COBOL, JCL, DB2).
• Experience with incident and change management processes (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.
• Preferred experience in the healthcare/insurance domain.
