Senior Machining Process Engineer

You'll work alongside top engineering talent on the technologies powering aerospace, energy, and defense industries worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design fixturing, tooling, and CNC programs for milling and grinding turbine components
• Partner with Operations and Quality to ensure flawless production and part quality
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools and methodologies
• Lead cross-functional project teams on new designs, repairs, and process enhancements
• Collaborate with the Engineering team to bring new parts, repairs, and technologies to life
• Champion innovative solutions that move the needle on business performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 5+ years of engineering experience in aerospace or industrial gas turbine mechanical design
• Manufacturing environment experience
• Proficiency in 3D CAD Modeling and CAM Programming (Siemens NX preferred)
• Multi-Axis Milling and Grinding experience (Okuma a plus)
• Strong project management skills and Lean/CI mindset
• A collaborative spirit and a track record of delivering results in multi-disciplinary teams
• Bonus: familiarity with FAA PMA/RS-DER guidelines

Onsite in Carson City, NV. Compensation: $100,000 to $130,000 DOE. Relocation assistance is offered.
