What You'll Be Doing

  • Assembling and testing mechanical and electrical components using detailed work instructions and specifications
  • Building standard and custom equipment configurations to meet customer requirements
  • Performing precision assembly utilizing hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and measuring devices
  • Following assembly and testing procedures, including color coding, PVC thermal welding, thread sealing, and other manufacturing processes
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, assembly drawings, work instructions, and specifications
  • Verifying product quality and identifying potential issues before final production release
  • Completing required production, testing, and quality documentation
  • Supporting internal and external customer expectations through high-quality workmanship
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, 5S activities, and workplace safety programs
  • Adhering to all company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements

Required Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in machine building, mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a related technical field
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and assembly instructions
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining quality and productivity standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Forklift certification or operating experience
  • Experience with pumps, piping, plumbing, or fluid-handling systems
  • Experience assembling industrial equipment or custom machinery
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement or Lean Manufacturing initiatives
