About the Opportunity:The Senior Logistics Systems Engineer role is focused on leading digital transformation initiatives within the supply chain ecosystem. This position drives the implementation of electronic data interchange (EDI) capabilities among suppliers and integrates business processes across multiple functions. The role contributes strategic and technical expertise to improve supply chain visibility, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making. 3. Responsibilities:Lead strategic supply chain digital integration initiatives to enhance automation and traceability.Develop and execute supplier digital connectivity and process standardization roadmaps.Act as subject matter expert on supply chain systems, integrations, and digital tools.Manage end-to-end EDI implementation, including testing, validation, and deployment.Create project plans, governance, and schedules for supplier onboarding.Establish supplier compliance metrics and continuous improvement programs.Analyze supply chain processes and design scalable system solutions.Translate business requirements into system and integration specifications.Lead workshops and develop future-state process designs.Define system architecture requirements aligned with operational needs.Evaluate and recommend improvements using SAP, Ariba, EDI, automation, and analytics.Develop governance for integration across multiple enterprise systems.Lead cross-functional integration across platforms and business units.Influence senior leaders and stakeholders to align priorities.Design data models and business intelligence solutions for decision-making.Collaborate to improve data availability and quality.Develop KPI frameworks for supplier and supply chain performance.Promote data-driven decision-making in supply chain teams.Lead workshops, steering committees, and executive communications.Mentor junior team members and support capability development.Manage external consultants and implementation partners as needed. 4. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Operations, or related field.8 to 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations Systems, ERP implementations, Digital Transformation, or Systems Integration.Over 5 years leading cross-functional projects involving enterprise systems and process transformation.Strong expertise with SAP S/4HANA and supply chain processes including Procurement, Inventory, Warehousing, Manufacturing, and Logistics.Experience leading EDI implementations and supplier onboarding.Ability to design business processes and translate operational needs into system solutions.Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, reporting tools, and dashboard development.Experience with integration platforms, middleware, APIs, and enterprise architecture. 5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:$115,000 - 130,000The actual salary offered depends on location, knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
