About the role
The Sr. Logistics Specialist, Domestic manages domestic order fulfillment and logistics operations, serving as a key liaison between customers, sales teams, supply chain partners, and third-party logistics providers. This role ensures products are delivered accurately, on time, and in compliance with customer requirements while owning the end-to-end order lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete order lifecycle from pre-order planning through final delivery for domestic and dropship orders.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure product availability, order accuracy, and timely execution.
- Monitor order fulfillment activities and proactively address delays, compliance issues, routing concerns, and chargeback risks.
- Manage order-related communications, order inbox activity, customer routing requirements, and EDI troubleshooting.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for warehouse and transportation partners to support daily operations and issue resolution.
- Track inbound inventory movement and ensure efficient flow from port arrival to warehouse availability.
- Maintain accurate item master data, product dimensions, customer records, and operational information within company systems.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, order management, customer fulfillment, or related operations environments.
- Experience managing order fulfillment processes from order entry through customer delivery.
- Knowledge of routing requirements, transportation coordination, warehouse operations, and logistics execution.
- Experience working with ERP systems, order management systems, EDI transactions, or supply chain technology platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to analyze operational data.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and external partners.
- Self-motivated professional with strong problem-solving skills, accountability, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite.
- Experience with Monday.com.
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and XLOOKUP functions.
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers and customer compliance requirements.
- Background in consumer products, retail, distribution, or fast-paced supply chain environments.
