Senior Logistics Planner
Responsibilities
Providing integrated logistics planning across the continuum of military operations (Shape, Deter, Seize the Initiative, Dominate, Stabilize, Enable Civil Authority)
Serving as a point of contact for deployment and distribution operations, including movement planning, transportation coordination, and RSOI processes
Managing supply and asset demand forecasting, inventory allocation, procurement, and shipment coordination
Conducting logistics assessments to ensure mission readiness and asset visibility
Assisting in the development and execution of project management plans (PMPs) and onboarding plans for contract transition phases
Supporting BOS-I logistics systems, husbandry services, and expeditionary base support logistics
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of supply chain/logistics planning experience and 4+ years of position-specific relevant experience leading logistics or warehouse teams.
- Familiarity with Department of Defense logistics procedures and supply chain regulations.
- Proficiency in logistics systems and tools for asset tracking and documentation.
- Ability to develop logistics solutions in response to dynamic and complex operational needs.
- Capable of working in joint, multi-national environments and with geographically dispersed teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience with expeditionary logistics planning and contingency basing support.
- Familiarity with operational contract support, BOS-I, and deployment processes.
- HAZMAT certification and knowledge of international shipping regulations.
- Understanding of Joint Publications related to logistics and deployment (JP 4 series).
Qualifications
Must hold an active Top Secret security clearance.
Physical Requirements
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
