Senior Logistics Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes and procedures associated with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
• Defines the detailed requirements, analyzes the business needs, and validates solutions with the client.
• Details requirements through product development and other functions to support the project team.
• Maintains an awareness of trends that could potentially affect the customer (positive and negative).
• Evaluate development projects and assist in tailoring the development process to meet the project needs.
• Assess the quality of Metadata documentation through both automated and manual methods.
• Provide data/information to a single point of reference or repository for alignment of Army Business Processes, Business Terms/Vocabulary, and Technical Assets across the Army Logistics enterprise.
• Utilize data analysis tools to include SQL, Microsoft Access, and Excel to query data from multiple complex relational databases and other data sources in support of customer data requests.
• Maintain an awareness of trends that could potentially affect the customer (positive and negative).

Requirements

• Master’s degree and at least 10 years of Business Analyst experience
• A Bachelor’s degree, and at least 12 years of Business Analyst experience
• An Associates degree, and at least 14 years of Business Analyst experience
• A High school diploma/GED, and at least 16 years of Business Analyst experience

Qualifications

• Background in Army logistics
• Understanding and awareness of ERP interfaces and dependencies
• Knowledge and understanding of the Logistics Enterprise transformation into an ERP-dominated environment
• Experience querying and analyzing data from various sources using tools (such as SQL, Python, PySpark, Vantage, etc.) to process large datasets in a distributed cluster
• A range of technical knowledge, including application development, project management, scheduling, etc.
• Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance
