Senior Logistics Analyst

As a Senior Logistics Analyst, you will play a critical leadership role within GDIT’s Supply Chain organization. In this position, you will oversee a team of logisticians and drive operational excellence across procurement requisitioning, forecasting, and the end‑to‑end order lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team responsible for procurement requisitioning, order planning, forecasting, and fulfillment activities.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and maintenance of procurement documentation, including purchase requisitions and supporting materials.
- Manage demand forecasting and order planning processes to ensure alignment with program requirements, contractual obligations, and inventory strategies.
- Ensure accurate evaluation of all incoming orders for completeness, correctness, funding validation, and compliance with customer and contract requirements.
- Partner closely with Procurement, Customer Service, Order Fulfillment, Warehouse Operations, and Program Management to resolve issues, remove barriers, and support on‑time delivery.
- Establish and monitor team performance metrics to drive accountability, improve accuracy, and increase overall operational efficiency.
- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and program leadership to provide status updates, highlight risks, and ensure requirement clarity.
- Champion data accuracy, process discipline, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning quality, reduce cycle times, and strengthen supply chain predictability.
- Support audit readiness and ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science required with a concentration in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Operations preferred.
- 5+ years of related experience
- Previous experience in forecasting and inventory management preferred
- Previous experience utilizing ERP and WMS applications preferred
- Candidate must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and someone who takes initiative with minimal supervision
- Security clearance level: Secret
- US citizenship required

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $72,250 - $97,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
