Senior Logistician

About the role

Join our vehicle sustainment team in North Charleston, SC, providing maintenance support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.

Responsibilities

• Assist more senior positions and perform functional duties under their oversight supporting logistics efforts.
• Analyze and coordinate logistical functions.
• Record, maintain, and initiate work order documentation for acquisition of component items from vendors.
• Work independently with minimal supervision or guidance.
• Handle packing, shipping, receiving, and transportation of parts, items, and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s of Science and 9 years of experience or a High School Diploma and 15 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license for the work location, a High School Diploma or GED, and a passport valid for at least one year beyond the start date.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with a current/active Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Willingness to travel to various U.S. or OCONUS locations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch, and kneel.
• Ability to push, pull, and reach.
• Ability to work in high-noise areas.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle small parts.
• Ability to work with computers, CRTs, and type on a keyboard.
