Our client is a well-respected, locally owned community bank in southwest Minnesota with approximately $100 million in assets and a loan portfolio that is nearly 90% agriculture-focused. The bank is deeply committed to serving the farming community and maintaining local decision-making.
About the role
The successful candidate will inherit an established $10 million agricultural portfolio consisting primarily of row crop and beef production relationships, with average loan sizes around $500,000-$1 million. Lenders here play an active role in the credit approval process and serve on the loan committee, providing direct input into lending decisions and the overall direction of the bank.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lender who values autonomy, relationship banking, and the ability to make a meaningful impact within a small, highly profitable organization. The right candidate can come in as either an AVP, VP, or SVP.
