Senior Living Server - Full Time or Part Time

About the Role

A Server in a senior living community is responsible for meal service and related tasks to ensure a pleasant dining experience for residents.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals, take orders, and assist with meal preparation following dietary standards.
• Set up and clear tables, deliver trays, pour beverages, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas.
• Communicate effectively with residents and team members, acting as a liaison between residents and food service staff.
• Help with proper use of kitchen equipment, observe infection control, and follow safety policies.
• Support resident-centered activities and participate in meetings and training as needed.
• Ensure efficient dining operations, maintain a clean and safe environment, and support residents’ needs with compassion and professionalism.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate courteously to residents and staff.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform necessary movements.
• Neat appearance, good hygiene, and adherence to dress code.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and safety protocols, including drug testing and background checks.
