Senior Living Nurse

About the role

Sunshine Villa, a Merrill Gardens Community, is seeking a Nurse to support residents in a vibrant community setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level customer service to residents and team members.
• Support and promote community and Merrill Gardens' philosophy, goals, and programs.
• Mentor caregiving team members in areas of resident services.
• Maintain a respectful and confidential environment.
• Create and maintain a calm, warm, and positive atmosphere.
• Attend and participate in in-service training.
• Document services provided and evaluations of residents' needs and abilities.
• Communicate with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Perform direct care to residents according to their service needs.
• Be available by phone during shifts.

Requirements

• A current LPN/LVN or RN license in the community's state.
• A minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in geriatric care.
