Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Sales and Leasing Manager as well as with other The Oaks of Louisiana team members and departments to assist in achieving department goals.
  • Collaborate on implementation of strategies and tactics to increase campus census.
  • Responds to requests for information within 24 hours of request receipt.
  • Met with prospects and reviews their situation and needs in detail.
  • Executes residency contracts.
  • Aids the Sales and Leasing Manager, other Senior Living Leasing Associates, and Maintenance and Housekeeping staff to ensure all residences are ready on time.
  • Records all communications accurately and in a timely manner through MatrixCare, including records of conversations and correspondence.
  • Develops a detailed schedule for moving day activities, coordinates the schedule with all departments involved and outside vendors if needed, and ensures the resident receives the appropriate resident handbook.
  • Submits leasing activity reports and documentation to the Sales and Leasing Manager, as requested.
  • Maintains on-call status for weekends and holidays, when requested.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2–4 years of experience in sales, leasing, senior living or related field.
  • Specific strengths in sales and development of relationship selling or comparable experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver superior customer service.
  • Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office and Office 365 is required.
  • Ability to fully utilize and maintain a process for documentation and tracking of prospects within a customer relationship management computer system (CRM).
  • Ability to express complex information in a clear and concise format.
  • Ability to present information at various levels of understanding.
  • Must display a willingness to make decisions, exhibit sound and accurate judgment and make decisions in a timely manner.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be very well organized.
  • Must have the ability to work independently as well as work effectively with affiliated teammates and manage time well to complete duties within the requisite timeframe.
  • Valid driver's license (and liability insurance) with own vehicle for local travel in support of educational seminars and established sales goals.
