Senior Living Caregiver Memory Care (NOC)

About the role

Merrill Gardens at Carolina Park is a Montessori-Inspired Memory Care Community supporting individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. We're seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide respectful, personalized care.

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)

Requirements

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care.
• Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
