Senior Living Assistant (Housekeeper) - PRN (Works As Needed) - 6a-230p Shift - Fargo Senior Living Apartments

About the role

Eventide Fargo Senior Living Apartments in Fargo, ND (near Scheel's Arena) is seeking a Senior Living Assistant to work PRN (as needed) as a Housekeeper on a schedule of 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. This role ensures a safe and clean environment for residents, families, and staff while also assisting with meal services under sanitary conditions.

Responsibilities

• Cleans tenant apartments, baths, common resident areas, staff work areas, and other common areas used by staff and visitors.
• Performs cleaning procedures such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, washing windows and walls, polishing, and scrubbing.
• Assists with sorting, washing, drying, and folding residents' personal clothing as needed.
• Ensures all work areas and carts are kept safe and secure.
• Follows infection control, safety rules, and facility policies when using equipment and chemicals; reports unsafe work areas or malfunctioning equipment to a supervisor.
• Maintains a positive relationship with residents, families, and staff.
• Re-stocks housekeeping carts, soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, and toilet tissue.
• Keeps all equipment clean, locked as indicated, and in a safe manner.
• Assists with meal service processes, including:
  • Offering and serving menu choices to residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
  • Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and containers used for meals.
  • Preparing various menu items as assigned by the Nutrition and Culinary Director.
  • Operating the dish machine, pre-soaking, and sorting dishes and utensils.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Long-term care or senior living experience is preferred.

Pay

Competitive starting pay range of $16–$17.92 per hour based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions, paid based on employment status and shift worked.
