About the role

As a Senior Litigator, you will be responsible for managing complex litigation cases from inception through trial and appeal. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and objectives, develop strategic litigation plans, and manage teams of attorneys and paralegals. You will also be expected to mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the development of legal strategy within the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee litigation cases from inception to trial and appeal
  • Develop and implement litigation strategies tailored to client objectives
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and objectives
  • Lead and mentor a team of attorneys and paralegals
  • Contribute to the development of legal strategy within the firm
  • Prepare and present evidence in court
  • Represent clients in depositions and hearings
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations

Requirements

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to practice law in at least one state
  • At least 7 years of litigation experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in high-stakes litigation
  • Experience in appellate advocacy
  • Knowledge of federal and state court procedures
  • Experience with alternative dispute resolution methods
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

Skills

  • Strong research and writing skills

Pay

Salary range: $150,000 - $200,000 per year
