Senior Litigation Attorney (Remote)
Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Litigation Attorney (Shareholder / LLC) to provide strategic legal counsel focused on shareholder and LLC disputes. The role involves managing high-stakes litigation from initial assessment through trial or settlement, including drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the client in shareholder and LLC disputes, including breach of fiduciary duty, dissolution actions, and contract disputes.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and provide informed recommendations.
- Draft, file, and argue motions, pleadings, and other litigation documents in state and federal courts.
- Advises clients on risk mitigation, compliance, and best practices related to corporate governance and LLC operating agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to ensure efficient case management and client communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Active membership in good standing with a state bar association, with a focus on corporate or commercial litigation.
- Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience, including shareholder and LLC disputes.
- Strong proficiency in legal research tools and databases, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
- Experience drafting and arguing motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
- Ability to analyze complex legal and factual issues to develop effective case strategies.
