Senior Linux Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to support enterprise Linux infrastructure and server environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux/Unix environments, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Install, configure, and support LDAP, DNS, PXE, and other core infrastructure services.
• Develop and maintain Linux scripting for automation and system administration.
• Support R&D or engineering environments, particularly within semiconductor/chip design organizations (preferred).
• Plan and execute server and infrastructure migrations, including migrating servers, services, storage, users, and related infrastructure between environments or companies.
• Troubleshoot complex Linux infrastructure issues and work independently in a production environment.
• Contribute to enterprise-scale Linux environments and infrastructure modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience administering Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux scripting for automation.
• Experience with enterprise‑scale Linux environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex Linux infrastructure issues and work independently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with engineering, infrastructure, and application teams.
