Responsibilities
- Develop engaging content for interactive games using Disney properties
- Utilize Unreal Engine, UEFN, and Verse to create and maintain game environments
- Work alongside artists to craft immersive gameplay spaces
- Design and iterate on gameplay mechanics, including puzzles and combat
- Document level design processes and updates thoroughly
- Mentor and guide junior Level Designers in best practices
Qualifications
- 5 years of game development experience with at least one shipped title in a similar role
- Proficient in Unreal Engine and UEFN, with skills in C++, Blueprints, and Verse Scripting
- Strong collaboration abilities and experience working with various stakeholders
- In-depth appreciation of Disney's intellectual properties and aesthetics
- Creative thinker with a strong sense of what makes engaging gameplay experiences
- Expertise in 3D game engines and their application in level design
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams
