Primary Responsibilities
- Scale, innovate, identify efficiencies and suggest AI-powered improvements to existing legal processes to improve process automation and promote efficiency.
- Develop detailed process documentation for various AI and technology processes for education and to drive automation.
- Drive AI-based process automation and system integrations across legal technology platforms—connecting AI tools with existing systems to streamline data flow and reduce manual handoffs.
- Support and facilitate various AI projects and initiatives across the Legal Department by gathering project requirements, providing updates, resolving issues, and ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Help define and maintain the Legal Department’s AI vision, strategy, maturity model, and roadmap—translating strategic goals into prioritized, actionable initiatives aligned with broader business objectives.
- Lead AI use case selection across key legal workflows—guiding initiatives from pilot through production and scale.
- Drive CLM strategy and enhancement roadmap—partnering with IT and business stakeholders to configure, optimize, and extend the CLM platform, including optimizing AI capabilities (e.g., AI-assisted drafting, clause extraction, risk scoring) to increase contract velocity and reduce manual review burden.
- Evaluate and manage the legal AI vendor landscape, including traditional, generative, and agentic AI tools; maintain awareness of key vendors and emerging capabilities relevant to Omnissa’s legal workflows.
- Establish and maintain AI governance, oversight, and risk management frameworks for legal AI tools, ensuring responsible use, data integrity, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
- Define and track AI economics for the Legal Department, including ROI metrics, cost-benefit analyses, and value measurement frameworks that communicate impact to leadership.
- Stay current on trends in AI and legal technology—including the rise of agentic AI for legal functions—and translate market developments into actionable recommendations for the Legal Department.
- Partner cross-functionally with other corporate functions to align Legal AI initiatives with enterprise-wide technology strategy and data governance standards.
