Senior Legal Secretary
About the role
The Compliance Paralegal plays a key role in supporting the company's global compliance and ethics program. This position assists with the administration, monitoring, and expansion of compliance initiatives, including data privacy, anti-bribery, Code of Conduct, and related regulatory programs.
Responsibilities
- Cook up and maintain compliance program materials, including policies, procedures, reports, certifications, and related communications.
- Manage data privacy activities, including managing data subject rights requests, privacy documentation, and compliance tracking.
- Aid in anti-bribery and ethics initiatives, including conducting third-party due diligence reviews, risk assessments, and related reporting.
- Respond to compliance audit requests and keep accurate records and documentation.
- Draft, review, and organize legal and compliance-related documents, correspondence, presentations, policies, and agreements.
- Administer company-wide compliance programs, including Code of Conduct training, anti-bribery and privacy training, conflict-of-interest disclosures, and compliance certifications.
- Review documents and materials for accuracy, consistency, and completeness; conduct legal and compliance research as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on compliance initiatives, investigations, audits, and special projects.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Legal and Compliance teams and assist with other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate with relevant experience; proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required.
- Minimum of 5 years of corporate, compliance, and/or litigation paralegal experience; knowledge of due diligence, records retention, privacy, and data protection practices preferred.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to take ownership of initiatives and drive them through completion.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to consistently produce accurate, high-quality work.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a professional and collaborative approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of compliance and ethics regulations.
- Experience with data privacy and anti-bribery practices.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.

$65,520.00 - $82,940.00
