Senior Legal Project Management Analyst
About the role
Are you energized by turning complex financial data into clear, actionable insight that shapes how legal teams work? As a Senior Legal Project Management Analyst, you'll analyze legal project management activities across a diverse portfolio of clients and matters — partnering closely with relationship partners, matter leads, and senior project managers to stay a step ahead of their needs. You'll lead the charge on matter and portfolio financial analysis, translating numbers into strategic recommendations that drive smarter decisions. Beyond that, you'll be the go-to expert for reporting: designing sharp, insightful analyses and setting the standard for data quality and analytical rigor across the team.

- Serve as owner and subject matter expert of the firm's budget tracking platform
- Analyze historical matter data to build reusable budget templates and maintain a database of matter analyses for future use
- Build and periodically update custom budget-versus-actual reports, and provide partners with reminders of key deadlines such as monthly accruals or forecast updates
- Draft and maintain client-specific playbooks and standard operating procedures
- Clean up, organize, and catalog scope documents and matter analogs so information can be efficiently reused across future matters
- Set up reporting on new matters, field ad hoc reporting requests from partners, and keep LPM dashboards updated with the most current information
- Provide regular updates to Senior Legal Project Managers on the status of matter budgets
