Senior Legal Counsel

About the Role

Sauder Schelkopf is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in plaintiff-side litigation, specifically in the areas of employee rights, whistleblower claims, and personal injury. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex and impactful cases, providing meaningful legal representation to individuals who have been wronged.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues
• Take and defend depositions
• Attend court hearings and trials
• Communicate directly with clients and provide exceptional client service
• Work collaboratively with partners and other associates on case strategy
• Manage a caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania
• 1-3 years of litigation experience preferred, but will consider candidates with strong academic credentials and a demonstrated interest in plaintiff's work
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
