Senior Learning Solutions Partner
About the Role
Riggs Cat University is searching for a highly influential Senior Learning Solutions Partner who will work with leaders, solve business challenges, and create learning experiences that drive measurable performance improvement. This is not a traditional training role. You will operate as a consultant, strategist, architect, designer, developer, facilitator, and trusted advisor to leaders throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Trusted Business Consultant
- Partner with leaders across Riggs Cat, Caterpillar, and external stakeholders.
- Diagnose business challenges and identify the root causes of performance gaps.
- Help leaders determine when learning, coaching, process improvement, leadership development, or organizational change is the right solution.
- Translate complex business needs into impactful workforce development strategies.
- Design Learning That Drives Results
- Create learning architectures that connect capability development with business performance.
- Design onboarding, leadership development, technical training, certifications, learning journeys, and performance support solutions.
- Apply learning science, instructional design best practices, and adult learning principles.
- Develop meaningful assessment and measurement strategies that prove business impact.
- Build World-Class Learning Experiences
- Develop high-quality eLearning, simulations, virtual programs, classroom experiences, videos, guides, and performance support tools.
- Use modern learning technologies to create engaging, consumer-grade experiences.
- Rapidly develop and improve solutions using agile, sprint-based approaches.
- Continuously explore emerging technologies, AI tools, and innovative learning approaches.

Requirements
- Graduate degree in learning, instructional design, education, adult learning, or a related field (preferred).
- Significant experience in consulting, learning design, development, and execution.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
- Frequently climb or balance.
- Occasionally sit or smell.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Routinely lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
The employee is regularly exposed to:
- Moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Wet and/or humid conditions, high or precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
- Occasional risk of electrical shock and vibration.
The work environment is usually low to moderate noise. Required travel up to 10%, including occasional travel to branch locations for on-site instruction.
