Senior Lead Financial Planner

About the role

The Senior Lead Financial Planner role at Facet is unique. We've removed the traditional sales approach and focus on providing holistic, objective advice that empowers members to make informed decisions about their finances.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 4–6 virtual strategy sessions per day, translating complex financial concepts into actionable steps aligned with members' long-term goals.
• Take full ownership of the planning lifecycle, including cash flow management, advanced investment strategies, tax planning, and integrated risk management.
• Focus on pre-retiree and retiree issues such as Social Security claiming, Medicare options, income source coordination, and estate plan integration.
• Rapidly establish deep-seated trust in a remote environment, maintaining an organized and elite client experience within a dynamic, fast-paced firm.
• Effectively manage member emotions and adjust communication style based on individual needs.
• Manage your calendar effectively to provide an organized experience while staying adaptable to the fast-paced nature of scaling.

Requirements

• CFP® designation
• MST or PST location preferred
• 15+ years of member-facing financial planning experience with a significant focus on pre-retirement and retirement planning
• Exceptional follow-up and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build connections with members
• Flexibility with hours to accommodate member meetings 2 nights per week
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in learning in-house software and tools
• Exceptional time and calendar management skills – key to success as a Facet planner
