Senior Lead Counsel, Government Response Team (GRT)

At Walmart, our Senior Lead Counsels drive response and investigation strategy while empowering the organization to make informed decisions that align to enterprise objectives.

What you'll do

• Identify, prioritize, and manage risks to the Company, including by engaging and supervising outside counsel and collaborating with internal clients to develop mitigation strategies
• Provide legal advice to the Company by identifying and explaining key risks and positioning Company leadership to make informed decisions
• Collaborate with senior Company executives to respond to significant risks
• Partner with Compliance and Business Units to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to encourage and continue early and proactive engagement of in-house counsel

Minimum Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited law school and 7 years’ experience in law
• Licence to practice law in at least one state
• 4 years’ experience leading cross-functional teams

Pay Range

The annual salary range for this position is $195,000.00 - $370,000.00
