Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal counsel across a variety of legal, compliance, and business challenges
- Lead the Company's labor and employment and commercial contracting functions
- Manage employment litigation and outside counsel globally
- Advises on complex contractual issues and negotiate various agreements
- Oversee the company's compliance and ethics program, ensuring adherence to regulations
- Develop talent within the Legal Department and foster a culture of accountability
- Optimize legal workflows and resource allocation for improved service delivery
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- 10+ years of progressive legal experience in corporate legal department or top-tier law firm
- Significant labor and employment law experience, particularly with compliance and litigation
- Experience supervising outside counsel and managing legal budgets
- Strong communication skills for translating complex legal issues into business terms
- Ability to manage a high volume of diverse legal matters efficiently
