Senior Laboratory Assistant, Float

Pay

Salary range: $17.50 – $26.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy, collecting, preparing, and processing biological specimens.
• Assist in laboratory activities and complete other assigned tasks.
• Prepare laboratory specimens and supplies.
• Enter laboratory orders and results as needed.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe, professional environment.
• Train and onboard new employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of laboratory‑related experience preferred.
• National phlebotomy certification through AMT or ASCP required, or eligibility to take the exam within 12 months of hire.
• May be required to hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
