Senior Lab Technician
Description
Retrieve samples from Sample Control for testing and analysis.
Perform sample preparation activities including:
- Aliquoting samples
- Spiking and tracing samples
- Preparing reagents and solutions
- Bottling samples
- Preparing sample concentrations and dilutions
- Sample separation and sonication
- Liquid rack setup
Review and resolve sample discrepancies to ensure proper labeling and traceability.
Maintain accurate laboratory documentation, including:
- Analytical results
- Sample tracking records
- Bench sheets
- Laboratory logbooks
Clean and maintain laboratory glassware and equipment.
Stock, organize, and monitor laboratory supplies and inventory.
Support general laboratory housekeeping and maintenance activities.
Follow established quality assurance programs, SOPs, and safety procedures.
Assist with additional laboratory projects and operational tasks as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2-4 years of laboratory experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Basic understanding of laboratory testing methods, techniques, and equipment.
- Ability to accurately analyze, document, and record data and results.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Exeter, NH.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
