Senior Knowledge Lawyer - US

Kennedys is seeking a Senior Knowledge Lawyer to join our global Practice Innovation and Knowledge Solutions team. This role offers the opportunity to shape how legal knowledge, training and innovation are delivered across our US practices, working closely with partners and senior stakeholders to drive quality, consistency and client value. You will act as a trusted adviser to legal teams, supporting the development of high-quality knowledge resources, delivering impactful training, and contributing to the firm's broader innovation agenda. The Practice Innovation and Knowledge Solutions team brings together Knowledge Management and Information Services professionals, and legal innovation specialists to deliver high-quality, market-leading knowledge and innovation solutions across the firm. The team works closely with practice groups, Business Development, IT and Risk & Compliance to support the firm's strategic priorities. Role can be based out of Miami, New York, or New Jersey offices. The position is hybrid. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and continuous improvement of model and template documents, checklists, prompt libraries and core knowledge resourcesDesign and deliver high-impact legal training programmes for attorneys and clientsWork closely with partners and client teams to develop tailored legal training and content solutionsLead and coordinate knowledge initiatives aligned with practice group priorities and firm strategyAct as a trusted adviser to legal teams, translating business needs into practical, scalable knowledge solutionsDrive adoption of legal technology, including AI tools, to enhance legal delivery and efficiencyCollaborate with Business Development, IT and Risk & Compliance on strategic, firmwide initiatives Experience And Skills A qualified attorney with significant post-qualification experience (typically 7–10+ years), gained in private practiceExperience as a Knowledge Lawyer or equivalent role, or a strong interest in transitioning into a knowledge and innovation roleExpertise in insurance law and litigation is preferred, but not requiredStrong understanding of how knowledge, training and innovation support high-performing legal teams and clients
