About the role

Design and implement effective Analytics solutions and models that are deployed in Cloud platforms (Azure/GCP). Examine business requirements and provide solutions. Interact with TPM, Tech Lead and lead conversations. Build applications following industry coding standards, including writing unit test cases to meet or exceed coverage requirements. Ensure features are successfully tested and deployed to production. Implement monitoring solutions recommended by the client. Understand and document the design and service specifications for the application. Guide developers in preparing functional/technical specs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Analytics solutions and models in Cloud platforms (Azure/GCP).
  • Examine business requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Lead conversations with TPMs and Tech Leads.
  • Build applications based on business requirements while adhering to industry coding standards.
  • Write unit test cases to meet or exceed project-defined coverage percentages.
  • Ensure features are tested and deployed to production successfully.
  • Implement monitoring solutions as recommended by the client.
  • Document design and service specifications for the application.
  • Guide developers in preparing functional and technical specifications.

Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of experience in Advanced Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, and any Cloud Platform (Azure is a plus).
  • Experience with Kafka or any messaging queue.
  • Hands-on experience or knowledge in designing applications, preferably with high-volume experience.

Schedule

Hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Bentonville, AR.

Pay

The annual salary for this position is between $55K – $114K, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance.
