Senior Java Full Stack Developer

This role must be filled on-site 5 days per week in one of the following locations: Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Birmingham, AL; or Miamisburg, OH.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and implement APIs, microservices, and backend components.
• Collaborate with API developers across the team to build new features at scale.
• Improve API standards and services.
• Develop and unit test Java RESTful services that integrate with external client systems.
• Work with DEVOps tools like Jenkins, uDeploy, and Git.
• Review design documents and provide feedback on approach and estimates.
• Create technical designs for new systems and modifications to existing systems.
• Translate detailed requirements into functional system designs.
• Prioritize work, meet deadlines, and establish effective working relationships with clients, project team members, supervisors, and employees from other departments.
• Work closely with internal and external design, business, and technical counterparts.
• Research and recommend functional libraries to expedite development.

Requirements

• At least 7+ years of Java API development, including hands-on troubleshooting and deployment experience.
• At least 2+ years of front-end (UI) development experience using Angular, HTML, and CSS.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
• 7+ years of experience developing and consuming SOAP and REST web services in an operational/production environment.
• Experience working with OpenShift, Containerization, and Microservices.
• 3+ years of experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of client-side technologies like Node.js and Angular 8+.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, and MongoDB.
• Experience integrating Java-based applications with Oracle/SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with REST API development using Spring Boot and Spring framework.
• Experience coding to prevent hacking and other vulnerabilities.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams and in an Agile environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 – $176,300.00.
