Senior Java Developer – Capital Markets

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Developer-Java/J2EE Specialist with extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business users and team members to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions under tight deadlines. This role requires a strong background in Java, Spring framework, relational databases, and a solid understanding of financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Engage business users to define requirements and design tools supporting trade analytics, pooling and securitization, trade capture, reporting, and reconciliation.
• Develop applications, prototypes, and provide high-level technical consulting.
• Collaborate with team members and business partners to deliver technology solutions within tight deadlines.
• Predict effects of configuration changes, identify application bottlenecks, and optimize performance.
• Support issue resolution and handle ad-hoc requests for business partners within the I&CM division.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of IT experience in design, development, integration, and testing of J2EE-based software solutions.
• Proficiency in servlets, Java Server Pages (JSP), and JDBC.
• 7 to 10 years of experience with relational databases such as Sybase, SQL Server, MySQL, and/or DB2.
• 3 to 5 years of experience with tools like Eclipse, GIT, Gradle, Docker, and Jenkins for managing, building, and deploying code.
• 3 to 5 years of experience designing and executing JUnit test cases using the Mockito framework.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

Pay

Pay Range: $90 – $100. The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
