About the role
Hands-on coding, design, and testing of changes in the Rates and Credit eTrading platform. Changes include ECN connectivity, Pricing, RFQ processing, and STP. Focus on low latency, capacity, and performance in terms of messaging layer, caching of data, management of data structures, and concurrency.
Requirements
- Server-side Java
- Messaging: Solace, Kafka, Aeron, MQ
- SQL/DB: SQL, MS SQL, Oracle
- DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Urbancode
- 2+ years of application development in Front-Office Fixed Income, Equities, or FX platforms (required)
Preferred qualifications
- AWS: S3, SQS, SSM, KMS, and related services
Schedule
Onsite in New York City, 3–4 days per week. 12+ month contract. Interview process: 2 rounds.
