Senior IT Systems Engineer
About Amperity
Most customer data is a lie by omission. Amperity’s patented identity resolution consolidates billions of messy, conflicting records into an accurate picture of a real human being in hours, not months. More than 400 brands—including Alaska Airlines, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, DICK’S Sporting Goods, Virgin Atlantic, and Brooks Running—trust Amperity, and IDC named the company a Leader in the category in 2026. Amperity is rebuilding as an AI‑first company, delivering AI‑driven customer data agents that turn plain‑language questions into live segments without engineering delays.
The Role
As a Senior IT Systems Engineer based in Seattle, WA, you will own the systems, integrations, and automation that keep Amperity running. You’ll engineer our systems, connect them to each other, govern access to our most advanced platforms, and automate away manual toil. You’ll tackle ambiguous problems such as untangling a data‑platform permissions model, building self‑service onboarding integrations, or deploying new AI tools for the company. You will partner closely with Security, Engineering, and People teams and share your expertise with the broader IT organization.

- Design and support the employee identity lifecycle (onboarding/offboarding, SSO, SCIM) in partnership with Security & People.
- Govern advanced data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
- Evaluate, deploy, and administer AI tools, including access, licensing, and usage guardrails.
- Administer the SaaS stack (G‑Suite, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, MDM) and their integrations.
- Manage the macOS endpoint fleet and MDM policy.
- Build monitoring and automation to catch issues early and scale IT support.
- Own backup, recovery, and continuity for critical systems.
- Handle escalations and remain responsive to employees’ day‑to‑day support needs.
- Maintain IT documentation, asset and license management, SaaS spend, and vendor relationships.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Security, HR, GRC, and Engineering.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of senior, hands‑on IT experience, preferably in a high‑growth SaaS environment.
