Senior IT Subject Matter Expert

About the role

The Senior IT Subject Matter Expert is expected to build a technology partnership with clients, deliver strategic IT/network solutions, lead subject matter experts, represent the organization at industry conferences, and provide in-house expertise to other practice areas.

Responsibilities

• Works together with the customer to build a technology partnership, to ensure that offered technical solutions support the client's strategic, long-term plans and vision.
• Takes ownership of the IT/network strategy and solution delivered by the organization at an account level.
• Develops and delivers presentations on technical solutions to client and technical team, as well as captures and communicates client-specific best practices and lessons-learned using knowledge management tools and professional relationships.
• Leading other subject matter experts of the IT technology team for specific customers, evaluates design and architecture issues, as well as increases integration of services delivered, and research current market technologies to design cost-effective solutions that meet current and foreseeable customer requirements.
• Has broad technical expertise across multi-platforms and multi-vendor operating environments, including data centers and distributed computing environments.
• Recognized as an industry and in-house expert.
• Provides in-house expertise to other practice areas of the organization.
• Represents the organization at industry conferences, presents technical white papers.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance
• BS, 18+ years of relevant experience; MS, 16+ years; PhD, 12+ years
• One certification meeting IAM Level III (CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CCISO)
• TOGAF® Certified (Level 2)
• FEAC Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA)
• Zachman Certified Enterprise Architect
• ITIL 4 Strategic Leader
• COBIT 2019 Design & Implementation
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• Micrsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
• AWS Security – Specialty
• Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)

Benefits

Employees assigned to this job are expert level individual contributors, with leadership responsibilities for others' work. The target salary range is $180,000.00 - $230,000.00. The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.
