About the role
The Senior IT Project Manager oversees various system projects and/or programs of a highly complex nature. The role involves moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
- Asemble and lead project teams, identify appropriate resources, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Actively manage stakeholder partnerships and mitigate risks.
- Familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate team activities.
- Oversee the interdependencies and integration of interrelated projects when managing programs, and set strategies and lead program execution to deliver longer term business value.
- Possess specialized knowledge of ITIL frameworks to manage risks and issues unique to technology projects.
- Influence department’s strategy.
- Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology or a related field.
- 5+ years of IT project management experience.
- 3+ years of experience delivering concurrent complex technical initiatives end-to-end.
- 1+ years' experience with technical product selection, design, and IT solution implementation, preferably in health, finance, or other highly regulated industries.
- Excellent communication, including executive level.
- 3+ years' experience with SDLC Project Management.
- Comfortable working on projects that are not black and white and can analyze situations from a strategic lense.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration.
- Longevity working in data warehouse, decision support and reporting system environments.
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps and Jira.
- Align executive information systems and statistical software packages.
- Comprehensive knowledge of development languages, tools, and utilities.
- Six Sigma and/or Project Management Institute certification.
- Experience in the health solutions industry.
