About the role
Working as part of a service delivery team, you will:
- Participate in client technology upgrades and projects varying in scope from cloud migrations, complete network upgrades, network infrastructure design, GSuite/Office 365/Azure/AWS/Dropbox migrations/implementations, and new product adoptions.
- Actively participate in meetings with network/server engineers and helpdesk technicians to discuss new issues, latest technologies, case studies, roadblocks, and outstanding incidents.
- Work closely with IT Support Specialists and IT Managers to effectively communicate issues, project milestones, and make recommendations to client management.
- Assist with researching, testing, and developing solutions for both corporate IT and clients on an annual basis.
- Participate in sales and strategy meetings with existing and potential clients, contribute to knowledge management, and develop Maintenance Policies for each client.
- Monitor and react to alerts via automated network monitoring systems.
- Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings, coordinate resource deployment, and drive innovation for end-users in collaboration with IT Managers.
Requirements
- Unique ability to work with both business and technical-minded people to plan and execute against project timelines and deliverables.
- A strong understanding of TCP/IP Networking Protocols and Procedures, Windows Server and Workstation Operating Systems, Exchange, IIS, SQL, terminal server, Xen/VMware or similar virtualization technology, Google Apps, Dropbox, and Citrix.
- Experience managing over 30+ servers, monitoring, helpdesk systems, and setting up system efficiencies.
- Proven adeptness in detail-oriented work and demonstrated analytical/research skills.
- Passion for constantly seeking improvement in technology solutions.
- Ability to multi-task across clients, industries, and technologies while maintaining professionalism and composure.
- Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Engineering, or Computer Science; and/or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years in a customer-facing, technical support/management role.
