Senior IT Business Analyst - UKG Project

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Senior IT Business Analyst to lead pivotal projects supporting UKG Workforce Management solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to bridge the gap between technology and healthcare operations, ensuring seamless system integrations and optimizing hospital workflows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key liaison between IT and hospital business units
• Provide application configuration support, troubleshooting, and manage system upgrades
• Communicate effectively, analyze complex workflows, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Support data manipulation in SQL, produce custom reports, and collaborate with clinical analysts and other scheduling applications

Requirements

• 4+ years supporting healthcare applications, ideally in a hospital setting
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases, interfaces, and SQL-based applications
• Experience with Kronos UKG PRO Workforce Management, Time & Attendance systems, and HL7 interfaces preferred
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of networking, server management, and disaster recovery procedures
• Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with project management methodologies

Nice to have

• Business workflow redesign experience
• Experience with DataHub, Boomi Integration Platform, and ITIL standards
• Background in project management and process improvement

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Extensive experience supporting enterprise-level healthcare applications and integrations
• Preferred education and experience includes a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Willingness to support application upgrades, troubleshooting, and system enhancements
• Understanding of healthcare workflows and hospital operations
• Certifications related to healthcare IT or project management are a plus

Pay

$45-$50/hour

Schedule

3+ months contract (potential for conversion to hire)
