About the role
The Senior IT Administrator will provide exceptional hands-on customer support for the Executive Leadership team and staff globally. They will collaborate with a worldwide team of IT professionals, both internal and external, and will respond to and manage incoming technical support requests.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person and remote support to all employees, including Executive and Senior Leadership
- Respond to and manage incoming technical support requests via the IT help desk ticketing system & other support avenues
- Oversee and maintain the office's IT infrastructure, end-user devices, and applications (e.g., Network infrastructure, Google Meet, A/V, & desk equipment)
- Ensure the availability and proper working condition of computer equipment and peripherals by managing and assisting with their setup, maintenance, repair, and disposal
- Develop and distribute technical instructional documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in IT offices, server rooms, and storage areas
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Engineering, DevOps, Security, Facilities, Finance, & Corporate Systems)
- Manage, enroll, and improve our MDM infrastructure - JAMF and Intune
- Responsible for office firewalls (e.g., UniFi, Fortinet), VPN gateways, WiFi infrastructure
- Support our communication and productivity stack (e.g., Google Apps, Slack, Zoom, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for both onboarding and offboarding employees (e.g., new hire orientations, asset management, access control)
- Support IT requirements for both local events, such as executive leadership and board meetings, and global events, such as all-hands meetings
- Occasional travel to other offices may be required to assist with IT support
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Previous support of Google, Windows, Mac, and Linux environments
- Prior work with Identity Provider platforms like Okta and SaaS applications like Google Workspace
- Experience with centrally managed client security technologies such as Crowdstrike, MDM such as JAMF and Intune
- Strong customer orientation and communication skills
- Able to coach and guide users through basic computer tasks
- Extremely detail-oriented, organized, with excellent time management skills
- Ability to support executive staff members in person and remotely
- Sarbanes Oxley, SOX experience is a plus
Qualifications
- Certificates or educational degrees in IT are a plus
