Senior iOS UX Engineer, Search

Comfortable working across discipline lines, you will develop products and prototypes that bring innovative ideas to life. Joining a multi-disciplinary UX team, you will collaborate with Engineering and Product Management, using user insights to create industry-leading products.

Responsibilities

• Learn more about benefits at Google.
• Test concepts for iteration, research, and validation, conceiving and delivering engaging prototypes across a portfolio of products.
• Identify emerging needs, develop interaction design best practices, and contribute to pattern documentation.
• Manage or contribute to key projects.
• Develop, brainstorm, and define approaches that optimize implementation of the design intent.
• Ensure a holistic systems-thinking approach and advocate for user needs across platforms and applications.

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in technical leadership and managing projects.
• Experience with vibe coding tools, including AI Studio, Cursor, Antigravity, and Firebase Studio.
• Familiarity working across full tech stacks and production environments.
• Knowledge of technical constraints in designing for iOS.
• Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and organizational skills.

Pay

$159,000 - $231,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
