About the Role

Based onsite at Rocket Lab’s Middle River, MD production facility, the Inventory Coordinator is tasked with all aspects of inventory management, including receiving, putting into inventory, counting, and kitting inwards and outwards goods. This role is critical in maintaining inventory accuracy, adhering to processes, and ensuring customer satisfaction through just-in-time fulfillment in the "last mile" of our supply chain.

This position may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, computer work, and occasional exposure to moderate levels of noise, dust, and fumes in production areas.

Responsibilities

  • Receive inwards goods on a FIFO basis and ensure adherence to SOPs for processing.
  • Ensure accurate and on-time delivery of components and production kits in accordance with production and transfer order plans/priorities.
  • Sustain supply of Kanban materials to the shop floor.
  • Manage raw material movements and replenishment.
  • Maintain stock point accuracy and ensure the ERP system (LN) accurately reflects actual stock movements.
  • Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
  • Participate in a daily cycle counting program.
  • Manage and maintain FIFO to achieve appropriate stock rotation.
  • Perform additional duties as reasonably required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and 2+ years of experience.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, or other heavy manufacturing.
  • Experience with control and tracking of serial and lot-controlled materials.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Prior experience in a high-paced, rapid-growth environment.
  • Team-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task and work under multiple deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently.

Pay

Base Pay Range (MD Only): $24.50—$30.50 USD. Level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
