About the role

We’re currently looking for a Senior International Tax Analyst to join our team in Nashville, TN. This role will be responsible for preparing and reviewing international tax return forms and disclosures included within the US Federal consolidated tax return, supporting transfer pricing information requests and analysis, performing international tax special projects, and identifying opportunities to reduce the effective tax rate. The role will also involve collaborating with other tax teams to perform interim/annual tax close processes and respond to tax examiner information requests.

This is a hybrid role with in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the Bridgestone HQ in downtown Nashville.

Responsibilities

  • Collect information and prepare and review transfer pricing and international tax forms (e.g., Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, and 1118), election statements, and disclosures included within the US consolidated return.
  • Prepare, model, and review US foreign tax calculations based on compliance, forecast, and business and regulatory changes.
  • Assist with transfer pricing global compliance, including OECD and local requirements.
  • Prepare, document, and review operational transfer pricing results for tangible and intangible flows.
  • Assist with Advanced Pricing Agreements.
  • Support tax accounting by conducting monthly and quarterly close activities related to the foreign tax credit model and, as needed, related to the foreign units.
  • Support the Tax Risk Management team in understanding the reporting mechanics of international tax positions taken within the US tax return and consult on responses to examiner information requests.
  • Establish, improve, and execute tax processes and analyses required to meet the team’s objectives, including areas of transfer pricing and international tax.
  • Support projects, including but not limited to, modeling results using E&P and other tax attributes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in a large multinational corporation or public accounting firm.
  • 1–2 years of experience in International Tax.
  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar.
  • CPA, CMI, CAE, or international equivalent a plus.
  • MST or MBA a plus.
  • Big 4 Accounting Firm experience is a plus.
