This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week onsite at our Corporate Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The position focuses on U.S. tax reporting, compliance, and analysis, with an emphasis on tax technology, process improvement, tax automation, and tax modeling projects.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the accurate preparation of the assigned international portion of the U.S. Income Tax Return Form 1120 including Form 5471, Form 8858, Form 8865, and related elections and supporting schedules.
- Assist with the preparation, analysis, and review of the quarterly income tax provision.
- Responsible for assisting in preparation of quarterly federal and state tax estimates.
- Provide support to senior tax planners on development, analysis, and implementation of tax planning projects.
- Support the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local income tax returns by ensuring systems are properly configured and data is accurately imported and validated.
- Collaborate with tax team members to automate workflows, improve data integrity, and enhance reporting capabilities within compliance platforms.
- Provide training and ongoing support to tax staff on software functionality and best practices.
- Provide support in response to U.S. tax audits.
- Research U.S. and state tax issues.
- Develop expertise in using the Company’s financial systems (SAP), tax software (Corptax), and other data tools (Alteryx).
- Assist with Domestic Tax compliance tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Good working knowledge of USGAAP Accounting and U.S. international tax principles.
- Strong data and analytical skills.
- Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team; with a curiosity and desire to learn.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience using the Corptax Income Tax compliance software is beneficial.
- Experienced in using the Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Word and Excel).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- Master’s in Taxation, preferred.
- Five (5) plus years relevant experience in large multinational corporate tax environment and/or top tier accounting firm preferred.
