Senior Interior Designer- Commercial Construction

About The Role

As a CBRE T&T Interior Designer, you will oversee project management responsibilities for a variety of small to medium-sized projects or project teams. This job is part of the Design function. You will prepare and produce proposals and planning applications to internal and external partners. This role is on-site at our client's campus in Dearborn, MI a few days a week.

What You’ll Do

• Manage small project teams as well as plan and supervise assignments of other team members.
• Oversee the development of the initial phases of basic design, including evaluating client needs, programming, and space planning.
• Develop 2D and 3D design concepts and planning strategies.
• Make selections on products, materials, and finishes, including providing the specifications of furnishings, artwork, accessories, and plants.
• Assist with submittal reviews and RFIs during the construction administration phase.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
