Key Responsibilities

  • Product and Services Sales: Ability to sell your design concepts and product selection to clients with confidence and enthusiasm.
  • Design Leadership: Take a leading role in designing and developing interiors concepts for commercial projects, ensuring that the design aligns with the client's objectives and brand identity.
  • Client Collaboration: Take a leading role in designing and developing interior concepts for commercial projects, ensuring that the designs align with client objectives and brand identity.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design ideas, collaborate with team members, and engage with clients and suppliers.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, proactively managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate with the internal Rieke teams, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Material and Product Selections: Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that meet the project's design and functional requirements.
  • Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing project budgets, making informed decisions to optimize cost-effectiveness.
  • Continued Education: Keep abreast of industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas and design solutions to projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in interior design from an accredited university
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in interior design
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and MS applications
  • Establish connections effortlessly by engaging and inspiring others through conversation
  • Ability to form relationships by building rapport and establishing themselves as a trusted advisor who can guide their client through the design process
  • Impeccable time management skills and balance multiple projects and responsibilities at once
  • Embrace technology to enhance the design and sales process and demonstrate a willingness to learn new techniques and resources
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design ideas, collaborate with team members, and engage with clients and suppliers
  • NCIDQ certification is a plus
